Bennett Gates, leading to Philosopher's Walk (Toronto), University of Toronto. In the background are the spires of The University of Trinity College, UofT. The University of Trinity College, commonly known as Trinity College and informally Trin, is a college of the University of Toronto, founded in 1851 by Bishop John Strachan. Trinity was intended by Strachan as a college of strong Anglican alignment, after the University of Toronto severed its ties with the Church of England. In 1904, Trinity joined the university as a member of its collegiate federation.

The Philosopher's Walk (Toronto)
The Philosopher's Walk (Toronto) is a scenic footpath in the main campus of the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario. It runs in the north-south direction along the ravine landscape created by Taddle Creek, once a natural waterway that was buried during the Industrial Age and now flowing underground. The path is bounded by several Toronto landmarks, including the Royal Ontario Museum, the Royal Conservatory of Music, Trinity College and the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. It's a beautiful walk.
There is also a footpath of the same name in Kyoto, Japan.
