This year spring was late, but finally is catching up and we are about to experience a boom of blooms here :-)

In Toronto Music Garden. It's still pretty cold and yesterday we had snow, however I think it's safe to say Spring has definitely arrived. Hurrah!

This year we have very late spring, so right now they are still sleeping in their furry buds :-)
But it's a sunny Sunday we have here and I hope it will fasten Magnolia's awakening!
Tiny Sanguinaria in Bloom :-)

This is from the last year, when we had early spring.... I spotted these tiny blooms on a walk in Riverdale. They are Sanguinaria flowers, I think of a dwarf kind, since they were just a couple of inches tall.
Actually this flower was an inspiration for my origami design of Sanguanaria and the other day I folded it just as small as the real one :-) See in the comments.
