Lake Ontario has quite a large flock of Mute Swans ... they reside on the islands in the harbour ... quite protected from all the boat traffic ... they prefer to hide away in the channels where it is quieter ... there were four of them last night .... at first two were sitting quietly on the boat ramp till I came along ... I assumed the two were mates ... some may be new Swans this year, all grown up, looking like Mom and Dad ... once they started swimming around, two started this little activity ... a little aggressive behaviour ... I don't know enough about these birds to decipher what it means ... but I was thrilled to be able to catch them on camera.

Perhaps inspired by the beaches built in Paris each year...

A hand held shot .... the best of many I took on Sunday night from the RCYC Island .... in most shots, the lights are a blur ... I guess one of these days, I'll take the tripod along ... I've been trying to capture the lights of the CN Tower as they travel up and down the tower ... they're really neat to see ... also the lights travel around the pod on the top.
NO INVITES with BIG SPARKLY GRAPHICS. PLEASE, TRY TO RESPECT MY WISHES.
I prefer simple honest comments, rather then a copy & paste of an award code.
