Cute Victorian Tower in Miniature Town

Continuing my Toy-ronto Life series...

Happy Miniature Sunday.!
And for Victoria Day weekend there is a special heritage treat on Toy-ronto's most famous downtown street, featuring this picturesque Victorian Clock Tower built in 1870-1872 as a part of Fire Hall #3.

Now the only element that left from the Fire Hall #3, the cute tower is poking up from behind a colourful storefront that includes a famous here art store Curry's right from the tower, some of our origami papers come from there :-)

Yoga In Yorkville-2

What great weather it was for practicing Yoga outside! Teacher and the two students were practicing outside a store on Bellair in Yorkville. As I practice Hot Yoga myself (studio heated to about 40C so you work up a good sweat) I had to stop and watch them for a bit. This pose is called Warrior II.

“let me give you a suggestion on how you deal with hard-core drug addicts,” mr. ford said. “this is not drinking wine or smoking a joint, this is heroin or cocaine. with heroin or cocaine, you end up one of two ways: dead or in jail. that’s it. there’s only two ways.”

this asshole has consistently and loudly opposed any and all public health initiatives, particularly harm reduction strategies. though there are clearly far more options available to anyone using any substance, may his own words curse him.
