Took it during a rooftop photo-session session on Spring Equinox day...
I meant to post it earlier but it's such a busy time of year for me.
A Scenic Corner of Riverdale Farm. January White. Finale
Katrin Ray has added a photo to the pool:
Continue my Riverdale Walks series...
Here is the final image n this seasonal series on this classic scene of Riverdale Farm, which is located practically in Downtown of Toronto and is a unique site of the preserved history, a living representation of a rural farm in Ontario. It is really quite funny and cool to have this late-19th-century-style farm right in the urban downtown :-)
I started the series in February 2012 and now it's time to round it up with the display of all 12 months in this location, see them in the comments below.
You also may see the images of this farm I took all the year round plus extra ones in this set or as a slide show.

Depicting last month in this seasonal series on this farm.
The mid January was like a brief preview of how spring should start soon :-)
But it really was quite brief and then it was snowy snowy again ... you'll it for yourself in the next post.

Told you it all changed back to snow in the second half of January :-) The weather was quite strange lately, we had +13C recently and now it's back to -11C!
This is the last month in this farm series... so the classic view of the farm in January mode is coming next week - stay tuned :-)

It was really warm and spring-like in the first half of January... I even thought that spring started in the mid-winter! But it changed back to snow - you'll see later :-)
La poésie de neige
Katrin Ray has added a photo to the pool:
To my Riverdale Walks series again...
I just can not let go this snowy scene from the park :-) it was in the end of December and I had two other takes on this scene posted before... Still like this in the square format too. Did a vertorama out of two images to add more sky!
So this is a wider square view of the charming bench scene I used in my seasonal mini-series Riverdale Walks: Une poésie des saisons.

Winter Poetics. Riverdale Park West. Toronto

Continuing my Riverdale Walks and Toronto Vintage Postcards (early 21nd century) series...
A snowy scene from the park in the end of December. It's a wider view of this charming bench scene I used in my seasonal mini-series Riverdale Walks: Une poésie des saisons.
With all the snow on branches and benches it looked so winter fairytale-like... which now is only a memory.
